Announcing auditions for Jefferson Theatre Company’s competitive one-act play, Fahrenheit 451.
Auditions will be held on Monday, December 10th and Tuesday, December 11th starting at 6:00 p.m. Callbacks will be Tuesday, December 11th at 7:30 p.m. All forms and payments must be complete before you will be cleared for casting. This includes the JTC audition form and payment PLUS the Bloomington Activity form and payment.
Please come prepared with a 2 minute dramatic monologue. It is also recommended you read the book prior to auditions. Note: the movie is NOT a good representation of the play.
If you are unable to attend auditions, please contact director Laura Schmit (451Director@JeffersonTheatreCompany.org) to make other arrangements.
When completing your audition form, please be specific and list ALL conflicts and activities. You will not be able to expand conflicts after rehearsals have begun. For your reference, you can find a tentative rehearsal schedule here. But please list ALL conflicts — not just conflicts with this calendar.
To ensure a smooth audition, please complete your online registration at least 2 hours before auditions begin to allow your registration to be processed. If you would like to include a photo and/or resume, you may email them to Auditions@JeffersonTheatreCompany.org. Please be certain to name your files with your name (example: GuyMontag.jpg) and limit your resume to one page.
You may pay your JTC show fee online with a credit card via PayPal. Fees do apply for this convenience. If you prefer, you may pay by check and bring the check payable to “JTC” to the audition.
