ABOUT THE SHOW:
This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
Actors will read directly from the script standing at music stands with microphones. The magic of this show will come from the vocal performance of the actors who will play a wide variety of characters AND the live sound effects created on stage.

For your audition, you will read this entire page of dialogue. You do NOT need to memorize any of it, you’ll read it right off the page, of which we will provide copies for the audition. Please create a different voice for EACH character below, this radio show will be cast based on vocal performance with each actor playing multiple characters of all ages/genders/types, so we need to see your range! Take your time and make sure the characters are distinct and match their descriptions to the best of your ability.
