JTC Auditions Announcement — “The Mousetrap”

Announcing auditions for The Mousetrap.

UPDATE:  If you are planning to audition for The Mousetrap next week, please come prepared with a 30-second to 1-minute long dramatic monologue. It can be any dramatic monologue, but if you can find one which is a confession of a crime, or a Sherlock-Holmes-style crime solving monologue, even better. It can come from a play, a TV-Show or a Movie.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, May 29th starting at 3:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 30th starting at 3:00 p.m.  Callbacks will be on Thursday, May 31st at 3:00 p.m.  All forms and payments must be complete before you will be cleared for casting.  This includes the JTC audition form and payment PLUS the Bloomington Activity form and payment.

If you are unable to attend auditions, please contact director Erika Sasseville (MousetrapDirector@JeffersonTheatreCompany.org) to make other arrangements.

When completing your audition form, please be specific and list ALL conflicts and activities. You will not be able to expand conflicts after rehearsals have begun.

To ensure a smooth audition, please complete your online registration at least 2 hours before auditions begin to allow your registration to be processed.  You may email your photo and/or resume to Auditions@JeffersonTheatreCompany.org.  Please be certain to name your files with your name (example: MollieRalston.jpg) and limit your resume to one page.

You may pay your JTC show fee online with a credit card via PayPal.  Fees do apply for this convenience.  If you prefer, you may pay by check and bring the check payable to “JTC” to the audition.

All participants must complete both the JTC audition form and the Bloomington Activity Registration regardless of role – actors and tech crew.  Tech crew applicants are encouraged to come to auditions to ensure their registration is complete and to introduce themselves to the director.  Detailed instructions regarding the registration process can be found here.
