Auditions will be held on Jnauary 8th, 9th, and 10th starting at 6:30 p.m. You need only attend EITHER Monday, the 8th OR Tuesday, the 9th. Callbacks will be Wednesday, January 10th. All forms and payments must be complete before you will be cleared for casting. This includes the JTC audition, tech and orchestra form and payment PLUS the Bloomington Activity form and payment. All participants must complete both JTC auditionform process and the Bloomington Activity Registration regardless of role – actors, tech crew, and orchestra. Tech crew and orchestra applicants are encouraged to come to auditions to ensure their registration is complete and to introduce themselves to the director. For the vocal portion of the audition, please prepare a 16-32 bar cut to sing. Choose a song that shows off your voice and that you are comfortable singing; this can be any song. An accompanist will be provided, please mark your sheet music with your cut prior to the audition. If you have any questions, please ask Jamie Schmidt or Mr. Brown (in the choir room).
Please review the rehearsal calendar carefully and specify exact dates with conflicts. Be honest and specific about commitments (indicate activity, date(s), and times). If you miss a rehearsal for any date not listed, it will be considered an unexcused absence. You will not be able to expand conflicts after rehearsals have begun.
